Yael is an international development professional with more than 15 years of experience expanding access to education for marginalized populations, developing strategic partnerships and learning opportunities, and promoting best practices and global collaborations.

Prior to joining OLAM, Yael planned learning tours for European parliamentarians at CARE, bringing them to African countries to witness the impact of their foreign aid contributions firsthand.

‍

Yael is originally from Jerusalem and is currently based in Washington, DC. She has also lived in Niger, India, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Switzerland, and has worked in and traveled to over 30 countries.

Yael holds a BA in International Relations from Boston University and an MA in International Education and Development from the George Washington University.
